That looks like a lot of fun. who ran the event? what did you drive? Thats awesome that your chick (wife? gf?) gave it a try. I'm going to have to get my wife into car culture and its not going to be easy. I just picked up a WRX so I'll have to teach her how to 5speed. She told her mother its not a manual its a stick shift so I have my work set out. By the way, the photography on you website is sick. The first photo in architecture is pretty cool (im an architect). Odd man out at the autocross a forester????

It was a blast, a local bar ran the event. My Fiance enjoyed the driving but was bored as well in between runs ( in fairness i didn't know anyone there). I was driving a 14 Mustang GT track package, it did fairly well. I am so use to running in an FR-S that I have to relearn how to drive a heavy car.
The WRX should be fun out there, just realize you'll understeer a lot under breaking. And good luck with the teaching haha I have a little less hair from teaching mine

Understeer in braking? Nothing the e-brake cant take care of right? My racing experience is strictly limited to Gran Turismo and GTA-V. I still need to get better with the manual transmission too. I drove one one time about 12 yrs ago and then the last few days with the new car so i'm quite the noob. I still stall out at red lights on occasion. (especially if i forget to take it out of 4th and into 1st) congrats on the engagement. How did the Forester do? it seems like an odd car to bring.

haha the E-brake fixes everything! All good man keep practicing and it'll become second nature soon enough. The Forester was nice, actually it was a wonderful car. But it was an automatic, and apparently I get bored with automatics quickly.
